I was just throwing this stuff out there for now.  Hopefully we can organize it soon.  Maybe we can have multiple
categories from here, different views, materials, influences, et cetera...  The idea is to get as much input possible
on how to build a house that is; low-impact, (readily available materials), and self-sustainable, (passive-solar, etc).
This sketch is definitely
"out there".  We were
just exploring the
possibilities, especially
the idea of having
bedroom wings off the
center living area.
So far, one of the changes we would make,
besides being more "simple" in general, is
putting the hallways in the back, moving the
rooms forward, each room having an exterior
door to the courtyard.
We'll be starting with "the hub", which is pictured below.  We already have the roof panels to build a 26' x 32'
(outside dim).  The roof, and back wall are arched 18 gauge steel panels.   It all bolts together, to a base
plate on the bottom of the back, and the top of the front.  Basically, we have to build the front and side-walls.
